Fedit Technology Centers are involved in internationalization processes that will allow them to achieve the international expansion objectives within their strategic plans for the following years. Most of them are already present in Europe through European projects, but their real challenge is to introduce themselves in countries from Asia, Africa or Latin America.
SOME OF THE CENTERS WITH INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE
AIDICO
This Center has been offering calibration services in Morocco and Mauritania for several years and, since 2004, it has offered technical cooperation to Tunisia in partnership with the CTMCCV (Centre Tecnique des Materiaux de Construction, Ceramique et Verre) of the Tunisian Ministry of Industry. The Center keeps several agreements for the exchange of know-how with other organizations from Morocco and Tunisia, carried out through the Cooperation Agency of the Comunidad Valenciana.
In addition to this, with the chief aim of encouraging the internationalization of its client companies, this Technology Center has opened delegations in Bucharest (Romania) and Casablanca (Morocco), where AIDICO offers support to companies looking to expand their international presence.
ASCAMM
Present in several EU framework programs, which has placed it at the 6th position among Spanish Centers concerning return rates of the 6th FP.
Besides Europe, ASCAMM has maintained a relevant presence in several countries in Latin America in cooperation with several governments, universities and companies. It has also developed cooperation projects in China and India.
AINIA
One of the top agro-food Technology Centers at a European scale. It is currently working on 11 first-line European projects, heading several European themed networks. AINIA has an increasingly strong presence in the international scene, with technical cooperation and technology transfer projects being carried out in Latin America, Maghreb, Middle East and Asia.
ROBOTIKER, INASMET, LABEIN, FATRONIK, ESI (TECNALIA)
The Corporación Tecnalia is composed of 6 Technology Centers, 5 of them associated to Fedit: OBOTIKER, INASMET, LABEIN, FATRONIK and ESI.
Tecnalia ranks third in national bodies –second in private rankings – concerning European returns of the 6th Framework Program. It has been involved in 172 projects, heading 29 of them.
VICOMTECH
Besides its association with Fedit, the Vicomtech Technology Center is also a member of the IK4 alliance. This Center aims to be considered a point of reference in R&D&I by its client companies. It is currently involved in 3 CENIT projects and during the last 7 years it has worked in over 20 European projects.
ITC
It is a founding member of CERlabs, the European Network of National Ceramic Laboratories. In addition to this, it is a member of the ENIWEP European Network, composed by 26 first-line bodies from 17 countries. ITC is also involved in 2 European platforms: European Technology Platform for Advanced Materials and Technologies (EuMat) and the European Construction Technology Platform (ECTP).
