FEDIT-ICEX SECTORIAL PLAN

The ICEX-Fedit Sectorial Plan is the outcome of the shared internationalization interests of both bodies. The ICEX-Fedit annual Sectorial Plan is comprised of several internationalization actions worthy of note for Technology Centers. These actions receive financial support from ICEX and are carried out during the Sectorial Plan’s year term.

The goal of Fedit and ICEX is to export to foreign markets the knowledge generated by Technology Centers in such a way these profits allow them to uphold their investment in knowledge generation and transfer to Spanish companies.

The Centers find in Fedit their best ally to max out the opportunities provided by institutions such as the Spanish Institute for Foreign Commerce in order to achieve their internationalization.

These ICEX-Fedit sectorial plans aim to convey to foreign innovation agents the relevance of Fedit and Technology Centers as technology role models and efficient bodies in order to cover the technological requirements of the industry and enhance its competitiveness. Thus, on an annual basis, these plans encompass a range of actions that include direct and reverse trade missions, the participation in international fairs, the creation of digital platforms and tools, and so forth, to foster Spanish technology in foreign countries.

Every September the new Sectorial Plan for the following year is presented and, every year, Fedit encourages its partners to present their own actions within the Sectorial Plan. These measures will be supported by ICEX and will be carried out a year later.
