GOING ABROAD

Going abroad is always the first step for the internationalization of a Center. These outings are carried out to get acquainted with the work of other Centers and the workings of other markets, to search for new clients and to initiate the cooperation with other Centers and research organizations.

These first steps towards internationalization are risk laden, and many of these outings abroad do not garner the expected outcome. Hence, there are plenty of support tools – financial and logistic – for companies and Technology Centers.

In addition to this, Fedit has sealed an agreement with the Spanish Institute for Foreign Commerce (ICEX) that provides the guidelines for negotiating a Sectorial Plan for Technology Centers. This plan includes useful internationalization actions for the Centers that receive financial and logistic support from ICEX.
