PRESENTATION

The Technology Centers take a variety of legal statuses, and act as strategic partners for companies. They are a flexible and effective means of support for technological R&D, specifically for the production sector, and above all to SMEs, although they also work together with the public authorities in activities related to technological innovation.

As an organization, they are strongly involved in the business world:

- Acting as advisors and instrumental agents in the service of government technological policy.

- Promoting joint actions and exchange of knowledge and experience, so that this activity results in a benefit for the productive sector in the country.

- Co-operating actively to strengthen and improve the efficiency and co-ordination of the Spanish and European system of science, technology and companies.
