PROJECTS

Relevant projects

The Technology Centers that are members of Fedit develop hundreds of projects every year involving improvements for society and significant technological progress. They develop projects giving them a significant role in the current panorama, either alone or in partnership with other Centers, universities, Investment Programming Offices (OPIs) or companies. These are some of the most important:

AIDO. The MARVISION project for automatic classification in real time of marble slabs using artificial vision

AIICA. LIFE “Grape Tannis” project to obtain tannins from grape seeds for curing sheep and cow hides.

AIMPLAS. PICUS project to develop 100% biodegradable plastic fibres for making training twine for agriculture, and netting bags for packing agricultural products.

AIN. Eureka E! project 3567 EOLO – TAMECA for monitorizing wind generators based on complete knowledge of the state of the equipment and predictive techniques.

AINIA. Project for developing a new concept of industrial solids extraction plant using supercritical fluids.

AITEMIN. Project to develop a system based on artificial vision techniques capable of classifying polished or semi-finished granite pieces according to their tone.

AITEX. Project to research and develop textiles applied to acoustic insulation through nanofinishing techniques using an electrospinning process.

ANFACO-CECOPESCA. FRESHLABEL project to develop specific indictors for time/temperature for fish and meat products manufactured in the European industries in the sector.

CARTIF. Project for an complete treatment and evaluation plant for liquid and solid waste generated during the extraction process.

CEIT. Project for the development of long-range wireless sensors without batteries based on RFID

CIDEMCO. SIMECON project, a solar trajectory simulation chamber

CTA. AISHA project for developing a complete system of detection, evaluation and monitoring of defects in the structures and structural components of airplanes, manufactured both in carbon fibre and metal alloys.

CTM. FORMA0 project for a new process of forming and developing advanced materials for the transformation of advanced high-strength steel (AHSS). CTMETAL. Project for the trial, modelling and optimization of the performance of an axial ventilator for phytosanitary treatment in hydropneumatic equipment.

GAIKER-IK4. SMARTHEALTH project to develop a platform for multi-parametric diagnosis that is portable and easy to use and allows a diagnosis to be carried out during a medical consultation.

IDEKO. NESTOR project to offer support for companies to create measuring elements allowing a direct maintenance of railway track and the carriage wheels.

INASMET. BIOAVAN project to develop polymetric multifunctional materials for the manufacture of biomedical products with anti-bacterial and antibiotic properties, or polymeric thermomouldable and biodegradable materials.

LEITAT. PLAYMARKET auto-refrigerated shopping trolley project: a shopping trolley incorporating in its material a system of solar-powered refrigeration for food.

TEKNIKER. Project for the design, simulation and manufacture of components for the Giant Telescope of the Canary Islands.
